Lovely weather today.
H. + R. went to town. D. went to school.
Bill came home at 11:00 noon had lunch, left and did not return until 10:30 P.M.1

1. Does husband ever stay home in the evening? Where does he go??
2. Coasting - the dictionary defines coasting as "sledding" - so what did she mean when they went "sliding"? Ice skating?
3. R.S. Hose - at first I thought they were ladies nylon hosiery, but payment of $3 is a lot! I think it may actually be some sort of radiator hose.
4. Repaying daughter for money borrowed earlier in the week.
