1. So I am not sure if the phone bill was small, or that sanitary belts were expensive, but $3.50doesn't seem too high for this new technology.
2. So first of all when I think of Sanitary Belts, I always think of the book "Are you there God, it's me Margaret" - but I suppose it was what women had to deal with for decades - but eee gads, it looks painful! Here is an insert from a 1925 sanitary belt package.
