1. I found a mention of a Mrs. Nellie G***** on Ancestry.com...So Jim could be B.'s brother. This makes sense because in an earlier entry she mentions that Jim took B's mother home. Can't find any mention of a James or Jim G****** however. Sorry but I am still keeping the last name private.
2. Maybe if he gave he the money he promised she wouldn't need to borrow from her husband!

Washing clothes today + sunshine very warm, need no fire really.

Bill went to Plumbing S.
The girls + I played 500 while Bill was at Plum

1. Is this meant to be emphasized that Bill did not go to the hospital with them? Or did he just stay home from work??

Still not sure who Olive is. Census records online list an Olive M. and an Olive E. both in Ohio. Olive M. is listed as in Summit Ohio, presumably Summit County which is in the Akron area. She is listed as born in 1896. She could be a neighbor, or a boarder?
