Nellie is the very least prepared to serve meals but she is the only one who ever asks us to a meal1.
Nellie, Jim, B. + I played 500, won 5 games2 each and B. + Nellie won the rubber, had coffee and cake + came home at 12:15.
It was as warm as a spring night.

There are 3 versions, Australian, American, and Canadian with variations listed from Minnesota and (coincidentally) from Youngstown Ohio. She refers to the series of games as the "rubber" similar to playing bridge.
